Coz we all love ENG-ER-LAND!!!

Yesterday we all went to the Nurnberg Fest Platz to watch the England v Ecuador game on a 60 sqm TV screen! It was good fun, although the extremely hot weather was nearly intollerable! It was 37c!!! When we got home at 7:45pm it was still 32c! The atmosphere was good despite the heat and the majority of the people there were supporting England even though most of them were German, Dutch or Portugese!!! It was a fun experience, and made even better as we won the game! (funny that!)

Me in my England gear... what you can't see is that I also have a big England flag wrapped around my waist like a sarong! We were all dressed up and we got lots of supporting hails for ENGLAND and most of all ROOONAAY! You can see the TV screen in the background which we all went over to for the game.  Posted by Picasa

A day in Pottenstein

Yesterday, Darren, myself, my brother Rick and his girlfriend Tara all went on a trip into the hills to a little village called Pottenstein. The reason for this visit was that they have a fab slide course down the side of the hill, which you ride down in a specially made seat. The others enjoyed it very much... I on the otherhand am a big scaredy cat and I had to go on with Darren! Even then I wasn't too happy with it... but I did it once and I was proud! (Yes the brakes went on A LOT! lol) After the sliding, we walked across to the lake and had a very German lunch! The boys had currywurst and chips while the girls had bockwurst and kartoffelsalat... mmm yum!
Then we decided to have a jolly jaunt out on the lake in a pedlo boat. It was great fun and very cool out on the water. As you may see... it was HOT day!

All aboard! Posted by Picasa

A typical German lunch! Bockwurst und Kartoffelsalat (Sausage and Potato salad) and NO I DID NOT EAT THE SALAD!!! Lol! Posted by Picasa

This was the beautiful lake we went pedlo boating on. The boats were for 4 people so we could all go on one and share the leg work! Posted by Picasa

It was heavenly to be able to dip your feet into the lovely cold water of the lake on that hot, hot, summers day! Posted by Picasa

Summer Fun

A trip back home to Horsham for a break was a great idea... one that changed dramatically as we seem to have spent every waking hour on this trip visiting people! It was great fun though and we caught up with loads of people! One of my favourite evenings was spent down in Worthing... Fish and Chips on the beach! It was so relaxing! Well... apart from when the Seagulls got closer and closer demanding chips!!! LOL!
We are hoping to visit again at the end of the summer, so until then, my friends!!!

Dedication's what you need!

Toby William McIlroy's Dedication was a brilliant start to our visit back to Horsham (MFT) this month. The service was lovely and Toby was a very well behaved baby! Afterwards we all went across to the manse for a YUMMY BBQ. It was a really fun time with friends together that hadn't all been in the same place for a long while! Lots of giggles were had... especially when everyone started spilling either food or drink over themselves or someone next to them and I didn't!!! WOOHOO!! LOL! I hope you enjoy the following pictures, some are from the Dedication service and the others were taken at other points on our visit.

Awwww... what a cute little family! Posted by Picasa

Arrr me hearties!

My pirate name is:
Mad Anne Flint
Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!

The Aliens have landed! Oh no... it's just Herzo's World cup decor contribution! It revolves and everything! Maybe Horsham (MFT) and Herzo (MFGT) have been twinned which means that we now have to have a useless rotating ball in the town centre?!! Just a load of balls if you ask me! LOL! BTW, I was not 'drunk in possesion of a camera' when this shot was taken... I was just diving to the right to catch the huge football coming into my goal! Posted by Picasa
