Darren's Birthday BBQ!

A good evening was had by all on Saturday night as we celebrated D's birthday with a BBQ (what a strange thing to do in August... teehee)! We had typical English (or should I say American?) BBQ foods inc Hamburgers, Sausages (yes the yummy Nuernburger ones) and Steaks, washed down with a mix of fizzy drinks, wine, beer and other! After the food came the games... both 2 player PS2 driving challenges, and drinking challenges (as you will see below)! Mission accomplished for a fun night! Lol!

The long lawn provided an excellent place for Boules... just try to avoid the rocks and the forest! Ouch! And me!!!

Boules begins a fun evening to celebrate Darren's 33rd birthday (please note the superbly awful bbq shirts! Well done boys!)

Today Joy and I acted like true British tourists (or just our loopy selves) and decided to wreak havoc in the changing rooms by dressing up in full Lederhosen costume! It was very funny especially as you seem to end up with your chin resting on your chest (to be polite)!!! Good for some... for others (namely myself) it could prove to be a hazard while in the vicinity of other people! Lol! It was good fun and you never know... I might be brave enough to buy an outfit one day!

I am in the dress version of the lederhosen! I feel like I should be carrying at least 2 Steins of beer!!!

Tina and Justin's Hen and Stag night

Honour was certainly served on saturday evening as the "Nearly weds" had their Hen and Stag parties. The girls enjoyed the good food and the attentions of an exciteable waitor at TGI Fridays. Tina was presented with a very rude desert before a side order of embarrassment as she had to stand up in front of everyone for three cheers! The boys had fun with drunk bowling, then hot curries followed by a short pub crawl (more crawling for some than others) before joining the girls in Brannigans for eating, much drinking and FAR TOO MUCH cavorting! It isn't traditional for the Hens and Stags to meet up on this night but it worked very well and everyone seemed to have a good time! Definately an unforgettable night! Lol!
