Blunt Signs!!!

There's no mistaking what this sign means... wherever in the world you come from! Even the dogs can read this one! I can't help but wonder whether this is 'German efficiency' or an underlying humour?!! Well, they're keeping us laughing whichever!

The cyber 'Word Association' game! Posted by Hello

The old games are the best!

On friday, Anne and myself discovered a very funny, new version of 'Word Association' via webcam and MSN. I can highly recommend this new game as it will make you giggle all day! I would make sure the old 'post-it' note supply is topped up though! Enjoy!!!

One man went to mow... Posted by Hello

Stripes away!

Today we actually managed to buy a Lawnmower and mow the grass for THE first time! It was a highly needed thing as the grass was so long we could have entered a Blue Peter 'Wild garden' competition! Anyway, it's all very tidy and nice now for BBQ's, plus a perfect setting for any large garden candles I should wish to purchase...wooooohooooo! hehehe!

The Funniest things you see!

Well, out of all the many images my eyes have seen over the years... this has to be one of the CRAZIEST ever! A giant corn on the cob aka "Mais Man"! I think this one should go in the file with other crazy things you see, like when you drive on the motorway and you see houses being towed (static caravan types of course)! Certainly the easier way to 'move house'! Yes, I know... groan, groan! Couldn't resist the pun!

If anyone else has other photo's of CRAZY things you've seen, send them to me so we can all enjoy the hilarity! Will keep you up to date on the mad German items... I just need you all to fill in from other places!

That's just corny! Posted by Hello

Bamberg Hot Chocolate! Nice but beatable!  Posted by Hello

The best hot chocolate challenge!

I have decided to find out where you can get "THE BEST" hot chocolate ever! I may never be able to beat the cup of melted chocolate we were given at the Cadbury's factory, (the most heavenly taste ever) but I am not disheartened, I will not let the memory get me down! I hearby declare this the yummiest challenge ever to be carried out by a Ransley! So, World... have your hot chocolate drinks at the ready coz, HERE I COME! WOOHOOOOOO!

Helen's royal status is finally realised

After 4 months in Herzo, the Ransley's finally got around to changing their car reg plates.

FYI, in Germany your car is registered to the town where you live or a certain area.

As with everything in Germany it was a big pallava to sort out, but we got there in the end. Plus we got to keep our previous plates, so should we ever decide to open a pub with tacky German stuff... our collection has now started! Beware all you beer drinkers!
